| What-if Analysis
Apply IF...THEN...ELSE scenarios on one or more
data fields. A scenario corresponds to a
business rule that embeds operations like –
arithmetic, boolean, logical and complex
computation. Further, scenarios can be -
Stacked apply one scenario over other
scenario(s)
Compound apply a scenario on combination
of data and other scenario(s) |
|
| Multiple Combinations
On a given Dataset, more than one scenario can
be applied simultaneously. And each scenario can
use different set of data fields. |
|
| Side-by-side Comparison
With multiple combinations applied on a Dataset,
the results are displayed side-by-side. This
allows in-place comparison of output of each
scenario. Also the output values can be used as
columns in graph for visual comparison. |
|
| Dynamic Data Aggregation
Data from any number of supported data sources
can be combined dynamically during analysis.
Supported data sources are - RDBMS (Oracle, SQL
Server) & Files (Microsoft Excel, Text & XML). A
visual 'Filters' editor makes the job of
aggregation easy. Supported operations are -
join two Data sources using common field,
Grouping, logical Conditions and aggregates
(Maximum, Minimum, Count, Sum, Distinct &
Average). Filters can be saved in a
Workspace for re-use. |
|
| Always-On Statistics
For any given Dataset, basic statistical values
will always be pre-calculated and available for
each field without any action from user. The
values are available for - Count (All), Count
(distinct), Maximum, Minimum, Absolute Maximum,
Absolute Minimum, Average & Summation. Just
click on 'Averages' tab under 'Data' menu and
values are displayed in grid format. |
